Just wanted to see if your still happy with these wheels. I am thinking of getting a pair as well. My bike is at 14 lbs now but I am not the best climber and I may put a more climbing friendly cassette on these wheels but may invest in a Cervelo S5 as well. I currently run Reynolds 46's on my R5 and would love to move to the lightweight so if I continue down this road I would put them on the R5 as a climbing bike for I would be below 14 lbs. Put the Reynolds on the S5. I must say I have rode the Reynolds for 4000 Miles this year and must say they are a fantastic wheel. Just wondering your thoughts on the Lightweight after an extended period now? Any issues at all?

This bottle actually works. What I like most is that even after an hour on the bike in 100 degree heat the fluid inside is still cool. It keeps fluids cooler far better than some of the other insulated bottles on the market. You pay more but it's worth every penny during the hot Houston summers.

I love cycling. I love the sport, the camaraderie, the competition, and the technology. As a cyclist I have put together my own “bucket list” for the sport. A couple of items on that list that quickly come to mind are be at the TdF in July, climb the Alpe d’Huez, cycle through Italy, Spain, and France, mountain bike Colorado, build a custom frame, have a unique bike for all disciplines, own a pair of Lightweight wheels, among others. I had been deliberating about these wheels for months after seeing them at the InterBike Trade show. When Sugar Cycles became a dealer for Lightweight I pulled the trigger on a pair of Lightweight Standard C clinchers. I was like a kid in the candy store when I opened the wheel bag and reveled in the craftsmanship, build quality, and the ridiculous light weight! With Michelin Pro 3’s, butyl tubes, SRAM Red cassette, the pair weigh in at 1730 grams. These are serious wheels. Acceleration is amazing and the handling drips confidence whether bombing downhill or climbing upwards. The ride quality is the best I have ever experienced. Aerodynamics are incredible as they just surge forward as speed picks up. I have ridden them in 20+mph crosswinds with no issues. I did purchase the 3 year no questions asked warranty so I plan on putting in the miles with them. Now to work on that trip to Paris!

Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Ride to Cure: 5 dates, 5 cities

Here is something for those of you who would like to be well cared for on a small ride and are willing to raise money for a good cause. Depending on the fundraising level you choose, the Ride offers an all expense paid trip to the Ride venue of your choice and is perfect for cyclists of all fitness levels.

Here are the dates/venues for the 2011 rides:
- July 28-31: Burlington, VT
- August 11-14: La Crosse, WI
- September 9-12: Lake Tahoe, NV
- October 13-16: Death Valley, CA
- November 17-20: Tucson, AZ

The Ride to Cure Diabetes is a unique and exciting way to fight diabetes. Participants can choose from five Ride venues with each location offering various mileage options. Juvenile (Type 1) diabetes is generally diagnosed in children, adolescents, and young adults. There is no cure for Type 1 diabetes and it carries a constant threat of devastating complications. The mission of JDRF is to find a cure for Type 1 diabetes and related complications through the support of research.

For more information on these rides, Kamika Hind (khind@jdrf.org), or check out the JDRF Ride website - www.ride.jdrf.org.
